1) IC does not equal OOC. Please do not take anything a character says IC personally - the player does not mean it as an attack; they are playing their roles. In addition, do not take IC action as an excuse to be rude to someone you do not like OOC. Respecting others is key for roleplaying games to work well. Please try to resolve OOC differences calmly amongst players. If you have any questions, please contact the mods at halfbloodhillmods@gmail.com
2) On that note, if there is an issue between players, we strongly encourage the players to at least attempt to resolve things between each other first. We are adults here. If common ground cannot be reached, or if for some reason you do not feel safe approaching the player on your own, then please come to the mods. We are happy to facilitate.
3) Godmodding is not tolerated at Half-Blood Hill. The term 'godmodding' refers to one player controlling the actions of another, especially in graphic scenes. A player may not control a separate player's character at all unless they have specific clearance from the player. Your characters are also not omniscient - do not use knowledge you know OOC to benefit your characters in-game.
4) The character cap is currently at four per player. Please also note that you can only have one character in position of power at a time.
5) Activity Checks are conducted once a month and must be adhered to. For more information, please see our FAQ page located here.
6) Any content created that would be rated 'R' and over must be tagged as NSFW, locked to the community, and put under a cut. Do remember, however, that we are going to be dealing with many characters who are under 18.
7) You don't have to be familiar with Percy Jackson canon to play here! The mod team are doing their best to make this game playable for fans and canon strangers alike. If you have any questions at all about how something works in canon or anything about the details of the PJO universe, please don't hesitate to ask! We're very friendly and open to explaining things :) |
